Jason Patton started his real estate career in 1993 under the direction of his grandfather, James Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan had been the sole proprietor James A. Sullivan Real Estate since 1966. On October 1, 1997, Jason agreed to purchase his grandfather's business and simultaneously signed a franchise agreement with United Country Real Estate. United Country-Bay River Realty became the new official name of the existing real estate brokerage on January 1, 1998.
Since joining United Country Real Estate, Jason has become one of the leading real estate brokers in Virginia's Chesapeake Bay region. Jason was voted "Realtor of the Year" by the Northern Neck Association of Realtors in 1999. He has served 2 separate terms as President of the Northern Neck Association of Realtors, and in 2003 Jason was recognized by the National Association of Realtors as one of America's "Top 30 Real Estate Agents Under 30 Years of Age".
